Cookie Jar War

See this cookie jar right here?  It has become the key player in a little cookie jar war with my friend Lisa.  It all started back at the cookie swap we were at in December.  She won this little item and said she was going to give it to me for my birthday.  I insisted she not, but what did I find on the gift table?  This little beauty.  I told her it would find its way back to her, it was just a matter of time.  So I waited awhile and plotted and schemed about how I would sneak it back into her possession.  Well, on New Years Eve we were going to be at the same place.  We pulled up and her car was already there.  I thought wouldn't it be great if her car was unlocked, but no one leaves their car unlocked so it probably won't work.  I walked up to her car, tried the handle and it OPENED!  I was so excited that I giggled all the way back to my car, grabbed the cookie jar and placed it in her car.  I only wish I could have seen her face when she found it.  

 

Well, look what found its way back to me?  Little stinker!  She snuck it onto our front porch on Tuesday night and since we don't use the front door I never saw it.  Dave has been working on the house all week so he spotted it yesterday morning and told me about it. 

The lovely note inside.  Well, now it is a full on war and so I am planning on having Dave drop it off at the office where she works.  I might be nice and put a little something inside for her.  Game on!
