Dave has this week off from work to remodel the laundry room. Saturday he completely ripped this wall out- it was totally rotten. It is still a little shocking to pull into your driveway and this is what you see. Fortunately he did have it all put back together by the end of the day.
While he was crawling under the house working on the laundry room he noticed that the floor was leaking under the toilet. Oh joy of all joys. So he had to move the toilet and replace a few parts, which by the way refused to move. Imagine 7 o'clock at night cutting holes ever so carefully as to not nick a water pipe and the kids have to go pee outside in the dark. That part I think the boys kind of liked. He was finally able to get the stubborn part out and replaced and the toilet was returned to its rightful position.
I've also been working on Jack's motorcycle themed birthday party. I plan a party no problem, but use a paper trimmer? Get out of here. My worst enemy to date.
